About Me

I am Pākehā and Lebanese and grew up in the South Island of Aotearoa.

I have worked for over twenty-five years in the social services sector, in residential youth work, family violence, health, the refugee and humanitarian sector, and as an independent facilitator with survivors of historical abuse in care. I have also lectured in social work education at a tertiary level.

I completed a Master of Social Work (App) at Massey University in 2003 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Supervision at the University of Auckland in 2022. I have been a registered social worker since 2006.

I now offer my services as a Professional Supervisor, social work educator, and in private practice social work.

I completed a University of Auckland course on Stress and Trauma in Health and Human Services in 2023 and have an interest in secondary trauma associated with work in the helping professions.
